‘We all want quiet. We all want beauty…we all need space.’
Octavia Hill, Co-founder of the National Trust
Marlow National Trust Association (MNTA) is one of the National Trust’s many volunteer-run local supporter groups. We are independent of, but affiliated to, the National Trust and we support it by raising funds and promoting its work. Founded in 1984, MNTA is an active association of about 350 members from the local area who share a common interest in visiting heritage sites and learning about our history and culture. We are always pleased to welcome new members.
Our activities fall under four main headings:
- Monthly Meetings – with a speaker.
- Monthly Outings – day trips to places of interest.
- Holidays – in the UK and the Continent.
- Social Events – While all our events are sociable, we do organise some purely social events as well.
